This year, October 9th, Hangul Day was reinstated as a non-working holiday in Korea. With everyone off work, it was the perfect day to have baby Yuna’s very important first birthday party (돌잔치). Friends and family seemed to agree, because the venue was packed! This gave me a bit of a challenge in covering the event, but overall a good time was had by all. Happy birthday and best wishes to Yuna and family!
