Ahopsan Forest in Gijang-gun is one of my favorite locations to photograph in Busan. With its centuries-old bamboo groves, peaceful nature trails, and beautiful examples of traditional Korean architecture, it’s a fantastic setting for portraits — especially for couples and families.
This past spring, I had the pleasure of photographing Jasmine and Ethan during their visit to Korea. They were traveling together and wanted to commemorate their trip with a portrait session. We spent a lovely morning wandering through the forest, stopping along the way to capture moments in the serene surroundings. And of course, the spring weather couldn’t have been better.
Below are a few of my favorite images from our time together.
