I recently spent a late summer afternoon working with the Kim family for a portrait session at Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan. Known for its cascading, colorful houses and winding hillsides, the village offers a bright and energetic backdrop for portraits.
Gamcheon is a fantastic location for family sessions, especially when traveling with young kids. The vibrant street art and colorful murals naturally turn the shoot into a fun exploration. Posing alongside the village’s unique art kept the energy high, allowing us to capture some wonderfully animated expressions and genuine, candid interactions as the family explored the alleyways together.
Aside from the close-up mural shots, we made sure to head up to the higher vantage points to capture the signature, expansive views of the village sweeping down toward the harbor. The mix of open landscapes and intimate, colorful corners provided a beautiful variety of memories for their family archive.
Thank you to the Kim family for a lively and creative afternoon in Busan!
