I met Elaine and her family on a cool early spring morning at Dalmaji Park in Busan. It’s one of my favorite spots this time of year, especially when the cherry blossoms start appearing along Dalmaji-gil.
Some trees were just beginning to bloom, but fortunately we were able to find some nice ones to use as a backdrop for the session. We walked through the park, stopping by the cherry blossom paths and the traditional Korean pavilion areas that give Dalmaji Park its unique character.
The kids had lots of energy and were excited about the blossoms, which made for lots of natural moments throughout the shoot. Those little in-between interactions are always some of my favorite photos.
All in all, it was a great session to mark the start of cherry blossom season in Busan.
