December is typically quite cold in South Korea and outdoor portrait sessions usually slow down during this time. Surprisingly, I did get a few of them booked this winter. All the shoots ended up having really nice weather and I had a great time working with some wonderful people.
One such session was with Monica and family in Busan. Monica had come from the US to visit her 90-year old grandma for the first time since the pandemic and she wanted to photograph this special occasion. We went over to Chungryeolsa in the Dongnae-gu district, which still had some nice fall foliage left. It was really heartwarming to photograph Monica, grandma, and her aunt as they shared some beautiful moments together.
