Autumn is one of the most beautiful times of year to take photos in South Korea. Fortunately, the Covid-19 situation was a bit better by the time the leaves started changing and I got to work with families again. I met up with the Durrant family at the Daegu Arboretum (대구 수목원), a large park with a wide variety of plants, trees, and nature scenes. This of course means a lots of different backgrounds we could use for portraits. We had a great time exploring the park while capturing some beautiful and fun family moments.
Here’s what mom Sarah had to say about her experience:
“Roy somehow manages to be professional and easy-going at the same time. He was wonderful working with our family and we simply adore the results. His photos are not only beautiful but truly represent the spirit of our family.”
Below are some of my favorite images from that great autumn afternoon session.
