Lovely and Leo’s Seoul engagement session was almost a year in the making. It actually turned out to be my last shoot (and one of my favorites!) of 2017. Lovely’s sister Lui, who was gifting this session to the couple, contacted me way back in the spring to book their winter session. Over the next few months, we messaged back and forth and the details slowly came together. The final choice of location was Seoul Forest and the surrounding area. This was my first time to shoot there, but it has now become one of my favorite places to photograph in Seoul. There are so many backgrounds to choose from, and the Han River and colorful Seongsu-Dong are nearby as well.
Lovely and Leo flew in from the Philippines a day before our shoot. The day of the shoot turned out to be the coldest day of that week and bearing the -4 degree weather a bit of a challenge for all. But the couple were absolute troopers and we got through the day. Taking the shoot indoors at a cafe on Understand Avenue was also a big help.
Lovely and Leo, it was an absolute pleasure working with you and I wish you all the best! And thanks again for the Filipino sweets (which are always welcome, my dear clients ;)). Please enjoy these highlights from this winter pre-wedding session in Seoul.
