Sometimes shoots just don’t go as planned. Through our e-mail correspondence, Dianne and I made some great plans for her family’s photo session at Hakdong Pebble Beach (학동흑진주몽돌해변) in Geoje. Though they are actually based a couple hours away, they decided to come to Geoje to enjoy the views and use them as the backdrop for our session.
Unfortunately, it rained on BOTH days they were available. On the second day, all caution was thrown into the wind and they made the trip down to Geoje. The weather miracle we were hoping for did not happen and we had to roll with the punches. We decided to shoot in their rented pension, which turned out to be a cute background for our session. The interior was nice, but things got really fun when the family grabbed their umbrellas and stepped outside. It was a brief, but nice session and we were able to capture some beautiful family moments. I thank Dianne and family for being troopers despite the bad weather.
